This is a tale from long, long ago… or maybe not. Either way, it is a story from another world, another country.
Rachel, the girl rumored to be the most beautiful in the land. Innocent and open-hearted toward everyone, she is loved by all.
Meanwhile there is Galgadot, who poisoned the queen to become the king’s new wife, then killed the king himself, and now schemes to rule the country. When she asks the Magic Mirror, “Who is the fairest in the world?”, the answer it shows is Rachel.
“What?! You’re telling me that filthy little village girl is more beautiful than I am?!”
“Yes, of course. Rachel is the most beautiful in the land. After all, she is the late queen’s forgotten child.”
“Forgotten child, you say?!”
Though Rachel was serving as a maid in the palace at the time, the late queen, her mother, had her raised in an orphanage in a remote village to protect her from Galgadot, who was gradually seizing control of the court.
Jealous of Rachel’s beauty and determined to cut off any future threat, Galgadot has her underling, the Poison Apple Demon, steal Rachel’s heart. Then, so that Rachel can never return to her original self, the Poison Apple Demon divides her heart, her emotions, among the demons who embody the Seven Deadly Sins, one by one.
Having lost her heart, Rachel becomes like a doll. At first the villagers kindly look after her, but before long her body, still alluring even without a heart, is exposed to the men’s base lust. Unable to resist, she is used however they please.
Worse, one of the Seven Pillar Demons who received a piece of her heart, the Demon of Lust Goblin King, who holds Rachel’s “Fear”, takes an interest in her and treats her as a convenient hole.
But the lesser demons resent Goblin King’s monopolizing of Rachel. They kill him, and the “Fear” that had been entrusted to him returns to Rachel. Overwhelmed by the surging emotion of terror, she is on the verge of going mad, and at the same time, the demonic power that had entered her transforms her body!
With that power she wipes out the demons present, but the revived “Fear” keeps gnawing at her heart and she is close to breaking. Borrowing the strength of her childhood friend Godiva, she barely manages to hold down the terror swirling in her chest.
And so, to reclaim every last piece of her stolen heart, Rachel throws herself into battle against the demons steeped in interspecies lust and depravity!
