St. Michele Girls Academy is the land's most renowned mission school, where elite young women train in the ancient ways of the Taimashi -- the banishing of evil spirits.

Long ago, the land was nearly ruined by a devil called Akikage, who was banished by Taimashi of generations past. Even now, he drew his strength from a mysterious girl, plotting his return.

Three students, leaders among the school, held the title of "Protectors".
