Spring, the start of a new school year. The protagonist Rui Izumi finds hhimself curious about his quiet and reserved classmate, Asuka Adachi, an honor student who tends to keep to herself. Noticing Asuka's isolation, the outgoing gal Akane Hidaka steps in and reaches out to her, changing the relationship between the three of them little by little.
They hang out, eat crepes, take photo booth pictures, and study for exams together. As their bond deepens, the three of them slowly begin to understand what “friendship” really means, while facing rumors, loneliness, and awkward misunderstandings.
With the arrival of Akane's longtime friends, Midori and Seiji, their relationships grow even more complicated. As Asuka smiles more and more, a subtle shift begins to stir in Akane’s heart...
