August, 2011. Protagonist Yuuichirou is a one-armed badass living in the rural town of Ongamine-mura. Recently a spate of bizarre disappearances have become a problem.

Yuuichirou decides to settle the problem himself. As he investigates, he encounters a strange spirit.

As time passes, he and the spirit join forces and go deep into the case of these midsummer disappearances.
