Kashiwabi Ayato♂
榊弥 綜人
Description
The protagonist of this story. He is the chief of the Special Riot Police second division, who is capable of performing any task: from nursing a kid to repelling tanks. While being a chief, he is a militarist who leads his subordinates himself to solve cases, wielding his Japanese swords on the fields. He is an ordinary human, not a Special Holder. Despite this, he is insanely strong and feared on the underside of society.
His ideal world is one in which humans and Special Holders may coexist without discrimination. Those who understand his operations trust him because of his real activities and competence.
Ayato fought without thinking about the danger to himself in the past, when he was a member of an organization that was ancestral to the Special Riot Police, but he grew and was selected for the position of Special Riot Police second division chief thanks to the support of his comrades and the experience he gained. Close combat with Japanese swords is his forte. In times of suppression of the Japanese Self-Defense Forces coup d'état, he repelled multiple tanks with his swords. It has since become a legend.
