Chitose Haruki♂
千歳 春樹
Description
Our protagonist, and a second-year student at Mizunagi Academy. His parents live overseas for work.
The guy's been a walking disaster magnet since birth—he loses things, gets hassled by delinquents, and generally attracts trouble wherever he goes. Somehow, though, he's still grown up into a perfectly decent person, thanks in no small part to the people around him looking out for him.
He's had so much bad luck that minor disasters barely faze him anymore, and having punks pick fights with him on a regular basis means he's gotten pretty good at throwing hands. His luck is so terrible that even carrying money is considered a liability—he might just lose his wallet—so Sana controls his spending money and keeps him on a strict 200-yen-a-day allowance.
He's even been suspended before after getting dragged into a fight with some delinquents, but he's no troublemaker. Haruki is a genuinely decent guy, ranks near the top of his year academically, and, yes, girls do confess to him over the course of the story.
(spoiler hidden)
He's also awkward with people and all thumbs with his hands, and when you combine that with his terrible luck, he's forever getting himself hurt.
