Description
She is the second wife who married into the Gotou family, replacing the first wife, Sayuri. Her family home, also located in Sōdo City, is a historic kimono shop, but it is currently being kept afloat with the support of the Gotou family, and the idea of Beniko becoming the second wife was brought up by her family.
She has a gentle and kind personality, sympathizes with Eve's situation, and is always considerate of her. Having attended a prestigious girls' school with an escalator system from middle school through university, and marrying into the Gotou family immediately after graduation, she is very naive about the world. Perhaps due to her strict upbringing, she is an exceptionally traditional Japanese woman. She is inexperienced in romance and is still a virgin. She is very dependent on others and has difficulty asserting her own will. She tries to behave as an obedient and good wife to Kimitaka and as a good daughter-in-law to her father-in-law Nobuchika, but Nobuchika ends up making advances on her.
